Mosaaik Platform Affiliate Program Terms
These terms are the official rules for the Mosaaik Platform Affiliate Program. Mosaaik pays the commissions described here. They do not govern a community owner's own affiliate program. That program has a separate Creator Affiliate Program Agreement.
This is a proposed operating policy. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before it is treated as the final public agreement. Governing law, taxes, dispute resolution, privacy, and affiliate independence still need to be added to that final agreement. The payout schedule, minimum payout, and tax requirements are not final.
1. Affiliate commission structure
Affiliates earn a 40% recurring commission on eligible subscription payments made by creators they successfully refer to Mosaaik. The commission uses the subscription amount Mosaaik actually collects, excluding taxes, refunds, credits, and other non-commissionable charges. It is not calculated on Mosaaik's transaction fee from community sales.
Each community is billed on its own. The current community plans are Creator at $99 per month, or $79 when billed annually, and Thought Leader at $149 per month, or $119 when billed annually. At the standard monthly prices, 40% is $39.60 for Creator and $59.60 for Thought Leader. Annual commissions are 40% of the annual amount actually paid. A discounted payment is commissioned on the discounted amount. A creator who pays $49.50 generates a $19.80 commission. A $9 payment, if one were ever collected, would generate $3.60. That figure is an example of the rate, not a current plan.
Lifetime recurring commissions means commissions continue for as long as the referred creator maintains qualifying paid community subscriptions, subject to these terms. It does not guarantee commissions for the affiliate's lifetime.
2. Multiple communities
When an affiliate refers a new creator, the affiliate can earn on each qualifying paid community subscription that creator owns, including communities created after registration. If the qualifying payments were $99, $99, and $9, the commissions would be $39.60, $39.60, and $3.60, totaling $82.80 for that period. Two Thought Leader communities and one Creator community at current monthly prices would be $59.60 + $59.60 + $39.60. Commissions are not earned on free trials, unpaid invoices, or unsuccessful payments.
3. Referral attribution
A creator must register through a valid affiliate referral link. Mosaaik uses a 30-day window and a last-eligible-click model. Once a new creator is attributed, that relationship stays with the creator account for qualifying future community subscriptions. A creator account can have only one Platform Affiliate of record. An existing creator is not reassigned because they click a referral link after registration. Mosaaik may correct an attribution error when verifiable records support the correction.
4. Account ownership and transfers
Commissions belong to the original referred creator account. If that creator transfers a community through Mosaaik's authorized ownership-transfer process, the original affiliate keeps earning on communities the original creator still owns. The transferred community stops generating commissions for that affiliate once ownership and subscription responsibility have transferred. The new owner does not inherit the previous owner's affiliate. If the new owner already has a valid affiliate relationship, later eligible payments may be attributed to that affiliate. If the new owner has none, those payments do not generate Platform Affiliate commissions. A transfer does not claw back commissions legitimately earned before the effective transfer date.
Account sales, unauthorized transfers, or attempts to manipulate referral commissions may be investigated and commissions may be suspended. If Mosaaik later supports account mergers, attribution will be reviewed as part of the merger. Merged accounts must not produce duplicate commissions.
5. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes
A commission is earned only on a qualifying subscription payment that is collected and remains eligible. A full refund reverses the corresponding commission. A partial refund reduces it in proportion to the refunded commissionable amount. A dispute or chargeback may suspend or reverse the commission. If the commission was already paid, Mosaaik may offset it against future earnings. Adjustments are recorded and shown in the affiliate dashboard. A refund does not by itself end the creator referral relationship.
6. Canceled subscriptions
The affiliate keeps commissions legitimately earned on previous qualifying payments. No new commission accrues for a subscription while it is inactive or unpaid. Other qualifying communities owned by the same creator continue. If cancellation is scheduled and the subscription stays paid through the end of the period already billed, the affiliate keeps the commission on that payment. Remaining active without another qualifying payment does not create another commission.
7. Subscription reactivation
If a referred creator cancels and later reactivates a community under the same creator account, the original affiliate attribution remains. Eligible commissions resume when successful qualifying payments resume. That applies to reactivating an existing community and to creating a new qualifying community. Canceling a subscription does not erase the creator-level referral relationship.
8. Upgrades and downgrades
The commission follows the payment actually collected. An upgrade to Thought Leader earns 40% of eligible Thought Leader payments. A downgrade to Creator earns 40% of eligible Creator payments. Discounts, coupons, credits, and prorations change the commissionable amount.
9. Fraud, abuse, and prohibited conduct
Mosaaik prohibits fraudulent, misleading, or manipulative affiliate activity. That includes:
- Referring yourself through another account.
- Creating fake or duplicate creator accounts to generate commissions.
- Using unauthorized payment methods, or stolen identities or payment credentials.
- Artificially generating subscriptions or transactions.
- Misrepresenting Mosaaik's features, pricing, or services, or impersonating Mosaaik.
- Making misleading income or earnings guarantees.
- Sending unsolicited commercial messages in violation of applicable law.
- Using deceptive advertisements or manipulating referral tracking.
- Purchasing or transferring accounts to obtain commissions.
- Offering unauthorized incentives that violate these terms.
Affiliates must clearly disclose their financial relationship with Mosaaik when promoting the platform, as required by applicable advertising and consumer protection laws.
10. Investigation and enforcement
Mosaaik may investigate suspected abuse. When reasonably necessary, Mosaaik may suspend disputed commissions, request information, restrict access, reject fraudulent referrals, reverse commissions on ineligible transactions, or end participation for a material violation. Mosaaik will not cancel legitimate commissions already earned solely because an affiliate stops promoting the platform. Adjustments and enforcement actions are documented. Where appropriate, the affiliate receives notice and a chance to dispute the determination.
11. Commission holding period
Commissions start as pending. A 30-day hold begins after the qualifying payment is collected. During the hold, Mosaaik may check payment status, refunds, chargebacks, and eligibility. Eligible commissions then become payable. A commission can stay on hold longer while the related payment is in an active dispute or fraud investigation.
12. Affiliate payouts
The affiliate dashboard shows pending, payable, and paid commissions. A payout depends on any required identity or tax verification, accurate payment information, applicable law, and resolution of outstanding disputes. The payout method, minimum, and schedule will be published before live payouts begin. No payout is complete until the payment has actually been executed and confirmed. A ledger entry that says a payout was recorded is not that confirmation.
13. Changes to these terms
Mosaaik may update these rules with reasonable advance notice. The 40% rate agreed for an existing eligible referral stays in place for that referral unless the affiliate agrees to a revision, the law requires a change, or the referral or transaction is fraudulent or otherwise ineligible. A new rate for future referrals does not reduce commissions already earned.
14. Affiliate account closure
If an affiliate closes the affiliate account, new commissions stop on the closure date. Legitimately earned unpaid commissions remain payable, subject to verification, applicable law, and these terms. If Mosaaik ends participation for material fraud or abuse, commissions tied to fraudulent or ineligible activity may be withheld or reversed. Closing the account does not erase required financial records.
15. No guaranteed earnings
Joining does not guarantee income. Earnings depend on successful referrals, qualifying subscription payments, continued subscription activity, and compliance with these terms. Mosaaik does not guarantee that a referred creator will stay subscribed or open more communities.
The program is described at /affiliates. Acceptance of these terms is recorded with the date, terms version, and account ID before a referral link is activated.
